Growing up in Brazil, bikinis were more than just swimwear—they were a part of life. From childhood summers spent picking out the perfect cartoon-printed set to teenage years styling the trendiest pieces with my best friends, swimwear became my passion. I even spent hours on YouTube learning how to tie bikinis in creative ways!

But when I moved to Europe, I realized how much I missed authentic Brazilian bikinis—the way they fit, the high-quality fabrics, and that iconic Brazilian shape (yes, the small bottoms!). The struggle to find stylish, durable, and eco-friendly swimwear inspired me to create something different.

Then, living in Bondi Beach, Australia, I saw the perfect opportunity: to blend the flair of Brazilian swimwear with the laid-back Australian beach lifestyle. That’s how LUANA was born—a brand that redefines swimwear with bold designs, premium fabrics, and innovation.
